~ Chapter 7 ~
Shae-Lyn sat up groggily, rubbing her eyes. What was thumping sound? Oh, someone was knocking on her door. She stumbled to the door still half-asleep.
Howie was standing there. Shae stared at him in surprise. "Uh, hi. What are you doing here?" She ran a hand through what she knew must be "bed-hair."
Howie looked embarrassed. "I woke you up. I'm so sorry. I'll talk to you tomorrow."
Shae smiled shyly. "No, it's ok. You obviously came here for a reason. Come on in. I fell asleep watching some silly movie."
Howie looked at his watch. "It's is 11:30. If you want to go to sleep, I'll understand."
"I said it was ok!" she snapped then felt like an idiot. "Sorry. It's just that I didn't expect a Backstreet Boy to be knocking on my door."
"I'm just a normal guy," Howie said.
"ACK! Don't say that!" she screeched in mock horror.
"Huh?" Howie sat on the bed beside her.
"It's on my list of the most annoying things the BSBs say."
Howie chuckled. "Oh really? You girls keep lists?"
"It's a fan thing. Nevermind." Why did she always say stupid things? Sometimes her mouth opened before her brain could react.
"I don't get to to talk one on one with our fans very often. This is cool. What else do the fans say?"
"You don't want to know." Shae said, thinking of the nasty shit about Howie that goes around on the Internet.
Reading her mind, he said, "I know people say stuff on the Net about us. Especially Nick and I. It bothers us, but we can't make everyone happy. There's always gonna be people that you can't please no matter how hard you try."
"I guess that's true. The stuff that I find funny isn't nasty. We just know you guys aren't perfect."
"I'm glad. Because we aren't. We don't want people thinking we're these messiahs of role-model perfection cause if we fuck up, and we do or will, people will accuse us of not living up to our image. What image? All I am is a guy who likes to make a living entertaining people."
"I know. I don't have you guys on a pedastal. But, for the love of God, stop saying WE LIKE GIRLS! We know that. Ok?"
Howie burst into laughter. "Ok, I promise to try and stop saying that. But I do like 'em."
"Good for you."
Howie looked uncomfortable. It had been a while since he had been with a girl who was this straightforward. "Do you have a boyfriend back in Montreal?"
"Nope."
"Why not?"
"You ask a lot of questions."
"I'm trying to get to know you better."
Shae was stunned. Was it possible that he was interested in her? He couldn't be. She had seen pictures of some brunette he was supposedly dating. Claudia somebody. She was beautiful. Shae knew she was no where close to looking like that. "I guess I haven't met anyone interesting lately," she replied in answer to his question.
"What about Nicky?"
Her face instantly lit up. Howie noticed. He knew that he couldn't measure up to Nick in her eyes. He could always tell her what Nick had said about her. But that would hurt her and he didn't want to do that. It wasn't in his nature to be cruel to people.
"Nick's...well, Nick's special," she answered, a smile dancing on her lips.
"Nick's a good kid, but isn't he a little young for you?"
"Only by four years. What does age have to do with it? It's not like we're going out. And even if we were, it still wouldn't matter. Age is only a number. I'm a child at heart anyhow."
They talked for a while longer. Howie avoided talking about Nick. A little later, he glanced at his watch. "It's after midnight. I better let you get some zees."
She stood up and walked to the door with him. "Thanks for spending some time with me. You ask a lot of questions, but you're still sweet."
Howie grinned. "So are you, Shae-Lyn. Goodnight."
Nick sat by the pool, staring up at the star-filled sky. A pang of lonliness overcame him. He knew that he would be alone for the next three months and the thought depressed him. But it was his own damn fault. His thoughts wandered to that girl from Montreal...what was her name again? When he had looked down at her he had caught something in her eyes. It was sadness. He knew all about sadness. He always looked into people's eyes because he knew the eyes never lied.
He sighed as he thought about Angel. He had never seen her eyes. If only he had opened his quicker the day he had awoken from his coma, he would have seen her. How could she just disappear after everything she had said to him? He wanted to hire a PI to find her, but he knew that the man would just laugh him right out of his office.
He heard footsteps and lowered his head, hoping whoever it was didn't recognize him and went away.
"Nick?" a female voice asked tentatively.
He looked up with a ready retort, but swallowed his words as he stared at the pretty girl in front of him. Without shame, his eyes travelled up and down her body. She was wearing black clam-diggers and a white crop top. She had long tanned legs and perky breasts. His mouth watered as he felt a familiar stirring in his pants. He smiled at her. "Hi. What's your name?"
"Kim. I'm sorry to disturb you. I saw you exit the lobby this way. My friend and I came here from the states. We're big fans of the BSBs and we really wanted to meet you."
"It's no intrusion," Nick said. "How old are you, Kim?"
"Twenty-four."
"Cool!" He grinned. She was definitely old enough for what he had in mind.
"Would you mind if my friend and I took pictures with you?"
"No, I don't, but I have a better idea. Why don't you come back to my room with me."
Kim about passed out. Only in her dreams and her stories did stuff like this happen. "Yea...sure," she said, not trusting her voice.
Nick let her walk ahead of him, his hand on the small of her back. It had been a couple of years since he'd done something like this. But what the hell. He was lonely and extremely horny. He was tired of jerking off while ogling the pages of Playboy. He wanted a real woman to please him.
When they got to his room, he put the Do Not Disturb on the door and pushed Kim against it. "I want you to stay with me all night. Will you do that?" He ran one of his hands down her thigh while his other hand caressed her cheek.
Kim smiled. "I would love nothing better."
They started kissing.
Shae glanced at her watch. It was 1:30am. She was so bored and she couldn't sleep. She had tried Lo's room, but she was fast asleep. She decided to take a walk down by the pool. She glanced at the door to Nick's room which was across from hers. It sounded like he was still up. She could hear noise coming from inside. She edged closer and listened.
"Faster Kim, faster!" Nick was hollering.
Kim thrust onto Nick as fast as she could. "Oh God Nick! I'm gonna cum!" she groaned.
Nick's hands reached her breasts and he fondled them softly as he watched Kim bounce up and down on him. He could feel his release coming. It felt so good to let somebody fuck him. It had been so long. Ever since his ex...
He dislodged the memory and turned his attention back to the girl on top of him. God she was good.
All of a sudden, he threw Kim off him, rolling them over. Still inside her, he started to thrust in and out of her quicky and deeply. He felt her insides start to squeeze his penis. "Oh yea....baby, I'm gonna explode inside you now!"
Kim screamed out his name as she came with Nick following right after. He collasped on top of her. "That was amazing," he said, inhaling her perfume.
Kim smiled in satisfaction. She couldn't believe that she had just fucked Nick Carter. Her friend would flip out. She hoped Trish had found Kevin and was getting jiggy with him.
Shae-Lyn stood outside Nick's room in shock. She knew what she had just heard, but she didn't want to believe it. Some part of her was in denial. Maybe she had gotten the rooms mixed up and this was Brian and Leigh Anne's room. But the sane part of her knew that it was Nick. He sounded exactly like she thought he would when he was cumming. Kind of whiny and childlike, but with passion. She ran back inside her room and started crying.
